I researched how to buy Blu-Ray for several weeks before I chose this player. I wanted a player who would be able to show me my current DVD and new Blu-ray and the ability to see Net Flix on my flat screen. I have a Dynex 42 inch LCD TV. I have a Sharp Aquos LCD TV. I bought a Blu-ray DVD player to go with him. I read reviews before I bought it and was confused by how many people thought it was the best DVD player ever, and then who said it does not work. I wish someone would bother to explain … Are the best in these new things … My brother says I'm "late tech. It turns out that these entities does not work very well to start with the need to update the software from Sharp, which must be disposed of in Flash Player, and connected to the back of the TV. It 'was a bit' a problem, but with a little help from the player is working and working well. Very very sharp pictures and sound. I think the lowest price on Amazon is more work and worry about what this player but not worth it I can understand why Sharp is not programmed properly when they leave the factory. My player was built in December 2008, so new, I bought it in April 2009. But it would not play Blu-ray radiation without the updates and it took a long time to be properly connected, initially all you could play were regular DVD. It 'obvious that the people who thought it was great to get one of two who has been programmed correctly, or are tech savvy and do all the right prerequisites for this player.
